Telangana State Chess Association invites players to the Telangana Rapid and Blitz Championship 2026, top two players from each tournament will qualify for nationals
Telangana State Chess Association invites players to the participate in the Telangana Rapid Chess Championship - 2026 and Telangana Blitz Chess Championship - 2026 on the 31st of January, and 1st of February, 2026 respectively. The top two players from each tournament will get a chance to represent Telangana State in National Rapid and Blitz Chess Championship- 2026. One of the most exciting events of the year in a chess calendar is the National Rapid and Blitz which is held every year and players are selected from the state based on their performance in the state rapid and blitz tournaments. On the 31st of January and 1st of Feb, 2026, the Telangana Rapid Chess Championship - 2026 and Telangana Blitz Chess Championship - 2026 will be held at the Yogahall, Lalbahadur Stadium, Basheerbagh, Hyderabad - 500001.

Eligibility : Telangana resident Indian citizens only can participate. NO Age NO Gender Restrictions, all are allowed.
Two top players will represent Telangana State in National Rapid Chess Championship- 2026.

Time control : 15 + 10 seconds increment
