03/05/2021 - On 20th of April 2021, Arjun Kalyan became the 68th Grandmaster of India. He did so in Serbia by beating GM Dragan Kosic and crossing the Elo barrier of 2500. Born in 2002, Arjun is just 18 years old. Apart from becoming a GM, Arjun is also a brilliant student and scored 95% in his 12th standard exams.
